What It Does
SkinNest creates a thin, protective layer over surface blemishes. The hydrocolloid material helps absorb excess fluid while keeping the area covered from dirt, touching and picking. Because it comes on a roll, you can cut each piece to match a single spot, a cluster of blemishes or a larger area on the body.
It works best on whiteheads, popped pimples and other surface-level blemishes containing visible fluid. It is not designed to treat blackheads or deep cystic acne beneath the skin. Hydrocolloid works by absorbing moisture and forming a soft gel beneath the covering.
How To Use It
Clean your skin: Wash the area gently and allow it to dry completely. Do not apply serum, moisturizer or oil underneath the patch.
Cut your desired size: Using clean scissors, cut a piece slightly larger than the blemish. Rounded corners can help prevent the edges from lifting.
Peel and apply: Remove the backing without touching the adhesive too much. Place the hydrocolloid directly over the spot.
Press it into place: Hold it down gently for 10–15 seconds, especially around the edges.
Leave it to work: Wear it for approximately 6–12 hours or overnight. Replace it when it becomes white or cloudy, fills with moisture or begins lifting.
Remove gently: Slowly peel it away from the edge. Clean the area and apply a fresh piece if additional coverage is needed.
Tips & Tricks
- Apply only to completely clean, dry skin for the strongest hold.
- Cut the roll before removing the protective backing.
- Round the corners so the piece is less likely to catch on clothing or bedding.
- For larger areas such as the chest or back, cut a wider piece that covers the full spot.
- Do not apply skincare or makeup underneath it, as this can weaken the adhesive.
- Each piece is intended for one use only; do not remove and reapply the same piece.
- Stop using it if you experience burning, swelling, persistent redness or irritation.

Is it safe for all skin types?
SkinNest is designed for most skin types, including oily, dry and sensitive skin. However, skin can react differently to adhesives, so we recommend testing a small piece first if your skin is especially sensitive. Discontinue use if irritation develops.
Avoid applying it to infected skin, deep wounds, severe burns or areas where you have a known adhesive sensitivity.
How many uses do I get from one roll?
The number of applications depends on your roll length and how large you cut each piece. A single roll can provide many uses because you only cut what each blemish needs.
As a simple example, cutting full-width pieces approximately 1 cm long would provide around:
- 1.5 m roll: 150 pieces
- 3 m roll: 300 pieces
- 5 m roll: 500 pieces
Cutting smaller, spot-sized pieces may provide even more applications.
Is it difficult to cut and apply?
Not at all. Simply cut, peel and press. Cut a piece slightly larger than the spot, round the corners and apply it to clean, completely dry skin. The entire process usually takes less than a minute.
Does it work anywhere on the body?
SkinNest can be cut for surface blemishes on areas such as the face, chest, shoulders and back. Larger cuts are useful for clusters or awkwardly shaped areas.
Avoid the eyes, lips, inside the nose, mucous membranes, infected areas and deep or heavily draining wounds.
How long should I leave it on?
